Carmen is one of the top color and styling experts in the region. She has created a welcoming, friendly environment at Trendz where I feel confident, respected and cared for. Her products and service are top-notch, and the customer always centered. I’ll never return to the noisy, crowded, assembly-line environment so prevalent at other salons. She also excels at mentoring and supporting the stylists who rent space at Trendz. Lots of happy customers and laughter. I leave feeling like a million bucks every time. Highly recommend!
Recently moved to Knoxville and had my first haircut here. It was more expensive than where I lived previously but I'm very happy with the result. For reference, I have 2B to 3A type hair. Megan respected my hair texture and knew how to work with it. She was very helpful discussing styling tips for my hair, not gatekeeping or pushing styling products. I would gladly go back for future haircuts.
Where do I even start?! What an amazing experience, and they are willing to work with clients to make sure their experience is accessible! It’s so hard to find a business that does that! I had my hair cut here, at the suggestion of a few friends. For my haircut and style, Meg was my girl. She did so well and made sure to help pick a cut that was good for what I wanted but also complimented my face. She took her time, and was very meticulous about every minute of my service. It turned out amazing and I will come back! My friend is also being serviced at this salon and Carmen is AMAZING with curls! The whole salon is amazing, and welcoming.

Went into this salon Elizabeth (Beth) did my hair cut color and a blow dry it is amazing she listened to me and helped me decide because I'm very indecisive she was just fabulous can't wait for my next cut and refresh. She will definitely be my go to.
Meg did an incredible job with my hair! I was ready for some fun vibrant colors and she helped me narrow down what I wanted and the finished result is AMAZING. I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair. The colors are fantastic and she also cut my hair so it would frame my face more and put in layers to help the curls bounce back up. I asked for no extra styling/maintenance and none is needed :) I would absolutely recommend Meg for vibrant colors & curly haircuts.

Absolutely loved having Megan do my hair! Our original plan didn’t work out because my hair was too damaged, so she did something even more amazing with it! So glad she did a test strand so I didn’t end up with my hair falling out. Def recommend this place and Megan for any hair needs you have!!

Meg did an amazing job with my hair. I had been wanting a shag cut for a minute. A good friend of my husband’s recommended her to me and I’m glad he did! She listened to everything I said and asked questions to make sure it would turn out exactly how I wanted. She was even able to cut my hair extensions to blend in with my natural hair. I will definitely be going back to her.
My daughter got her hair done by Meg and it was absolutely gorgeous it definitely turned out better than we could have imagined. I have already set up an appointment to get my hair done and everyone that worked there was so down to earth and very welcoming.

I went to Trendz yesterday and had Meagan Mix as my stylist she went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly what I wanted and walked out happy. I couldn’t be more happy with the results and I am now a weekly client of hers. The rest of the staff are equally as sweet and attentive and you couldn’t ask for more from a salon and its entire staff. Meg did my 10 year old daughter's hair this morning and from the moment we walked in the salon, she made us feel right at home. She did a long pixie cut and my daughter loves her hair! She even put some cute colorful extentions in her hair for free! 10/10 recommend Meg. She did an amazing job!
Meg is a miracle worker! She accepted the challenge of my 3 years forgotten about hair and absolutely killed it! She was so kind and patient even when a cut and color turned into a 2-day color correction event. I wasn’t expecting to find my Salon or stylist first try but I certainly did. The whole place just has exactly the right vibe.

Beautiful salon, a knowledgeable staff, and professional stylists and nail techs! I see Monique for extensions and she does an amazing job! I drive for 2 hours just to see her! (I would drive more!) She is a Master at her craft and has always made herself available for aftercare because she truly cares about her clients. I loved my experience at Trendz Salon. I saw Monique Tevis for my habitat hand tied extensions and it was the best hair decision I have ever made. Monique is my hair GODDESS! She is so beyond talented and the sweetest person. Prior to meeting Monique I had gone to 2/3 other consultations with hairstylists in the area and left without booking an apt, I was close to giving up on the idea of getting the extensions I had desperately wanted because I could not find a hairstylist I trusted enough to place them. After meeting Monique for our consult I booked the same day. Monique spent over 3 hours with me going over the different options, brands, colors, and pricing. She was honest and upfront about pricing and truly wanted me to feel confident and happy with my decision. She worked with me and my price limit to find the best option for me. I left feeling super excited about my appointment. Now that it has been about 2 months with the extensions I know I was right and made the right decision. Monique is meticulous and to say she is talented is a HUGE understatement. She checks up on me and always wants to know how my hair is doing, she is always available to answer and help with any questions I have. She really cares and is the sweetest soul. I have loved getting to know Monique over these past months and I will truly never trust someone else to touch my hair. I wake up every day feeling beautiful and confident. Great place for a haircut and eyebrow wax. I didn't partake but there is a nail technician on-site. Staff is friendly. I was greeted with a smile and a complimentary beverage.
